AWANA
is a Bible-based, Christ-centered program for children. The word AWANA
stands for Approved Workmen Are Not Ashamed and comes from the Bible verse,
II Timothy 2:15. Through games
activities, Bible verse memorization, and Bible lessons, we reach boy and
girls with the gospel of Christ and to train them to serve Him. ECCCC offers
the following Awana Clubs:
Cubbies – for kids who are 3 or 4 years old.
Sparks
– for kids in K through 2nd grade
Truth and Training (T&T) – for 3rd -6th graders
Awana 是一個國際性、非宗派，並以教導聖經信息為主的青少年組織。 Awana 的意思是" Approved workmen are not ashamed"，中文為「作無愧的工人」 ( 提後 2：15) Awana 的目標是以基督的福音接觸小朋友 ， 並 訓練他們事奉神，成為合用的工人。Awana 聚會活動主要為背誦聖經、集體遊戲及信息傳講，旨在透過多元化的活動，使小孩身心得以健康成長。
本堂開設的 Awana 課程如下：
1) 小熊營— (Cubbies)： PreK
2) 火花營— (Sparks)： K-2nd grade
3) 見習真理奇兵隊— (Truth & Training)： G3-G6
